On Wednesday, April 25th, some of New York’s biggest names gathered for the unveiling of the Xi Gallery, the brand new for-public-consumption sales office for The XI.
Some of the stars and socialites in attendance included Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Lisa Immordino and Alexander Vreeland, and Julie Taymor. The XI is a “dancing” two-tower high-rise in the Meatpacking District designed by Bjarke Ingels. Nestled between The High Line and the Hudson River, the building is an immediate landmark, and promises to be one of the most-coveted addresses in all of the Big Apple.
The gallery features works by Es Devlin, a globally renowned artist and designer. Devlin has worked with collaborators like Kanye West and Beyoncé, and now brings her prodigious talent to the XI.
The gallery, located at 25 Little West 12th Street, will open to the public on May 14th.
