RH Designs Model Residence For HFZ's 88 & 90 Lex

May 22nd, 2017

At the buzzing crossroads of NoMad and Gramercy, HFZ Capital’s unique marriage of 88&90 Lexington Avenue is nearing completion.

Closings have begun on the project’s 119 condominiums where prices currently start at $2.085M for a one-bedroom, $3.155M for a two-bedroom and $4.35M for a three-bedroom. Recently, the development team unveiled a model three-bedroom residence designed by interior-decorating retailer RH(formerly known as Restoration Hardware). Priced at a cool $4.72 million, the home spans a sizeable 2,319 square feet and provides southern and western exposures that bathe each room with natural light.

Incorporating pieces from the RH Modern collection, the home offers a contemporary feel of bold accents contrasted by neutral furnishing. A 30-foot-long living and dining area is anchored by a 60” cast root coffee table in a bronze finish and a Belgian linen white sectional. Other pieces include a Bezier six-door media console and Niccolo floating leaner mirror with a bronze finish.

The open kitchen exudes luxury with its softly lustered sheen. Dornbracht fixtures, a Bertazzoni double-oven and cooktop, and a Sub-Zero refrigerator and wine cooler complete the opulent look.

The master bedroom offers two walk-in closets and is accompanied by an en-suite five-fixture master bathroom. RH furnished this “ultimate sanctuary” with a four-posted Belgian white linen canopy bed, brown oak nightstand and dresser with gold detailing and white ottoman and chair.

The master bathroom is finished in sumptuous French limestone flooring and wall tiles, travertine slab backsplash, radiant heated floors by NuHeat, and a WetStyle Cube Collection deep soaking tub.

The overall design of 88&90 Lex was conceived by Workshop/APD, who recently completed the dramatic overhaul of the Printing House in the West Village. As the pre-war, limestone-clad building of the pair, 90 Lexington is undergoing a top-to-bottom renovation that is creating generously-scaled, high-ceilinged residences in the center of Manhattan. The building is located two short blocks from Madison Square Park and steps away from the Lexington subway line. At the edge of the bustling NoMad neighborhood, its residents will have fine dining options such as A Voce, Eleven Madison Park, Gramercy Tavern, and Maialino at their fingertips.
