One Madison

23 E 22nd Street, New York

One Madison is one of the most striking buildings to join the Manhattan skyline in a generation. HFZ, in partnership with Related and CIM, opportunistically rescued the completed but stalled tower from bankruptcy in 2012, and have proceeded to reposition One Madison into a one-of-kind building that brings a new and elevated level of intimacy to urban living, commanding some of Manhattan’s highest prices and attracting several of its most famous residents.

At more than 600 feet, One Madison is among the tallest residential towers in the city, and offers its residents at least 270 degrees of some of the world’s most sought after views. Floor-to-ceiling windows transform the drama of the surrounding skyline into personal cinematic experiences.

The building sits at the nexus of four of New York City’s most dynamic neighborhoods – Flatiron, Gramercy, NoMad and Chelsea – rising from one of the city’s most legendary avenues. With its innovative modular, plug-in design concept articulated through “pods” which deconstruct the building’s mass and provide a sense of lightness, One Madison, according to a prominent architectural critic, “adds a jolt of modernity” to the area.

Interior designs by Yabu Pushelberg and Cetra Ruddy allow buyers to choose the interior finishes that appeal to them.  The residences also offer full floor options, with most floors having only one or two units each.

The One Club is a private residents-only club that offers 10,000 square feet of luxurious services and staffed amenities spanning two full floors overlooking Madison Square Park. The Club Level features a great room with a lounge and dining Room, parlor, screening room and butler-staffed catering kitchen. On The Spa & Fitness Level, there’s a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, indoor black stone pool, spa with glass-enclosed steam room and a thoughtfully furnished and carefully appointed children’s playroom.

Sales commenced fall 2012.
