305 East 51st Street, New York

A powerful expression of visionary development, this once-stalled project mired in complex problems was purchased at a deep discount at the lowest point in the Great Recession. 305 East 51st Street has been completely re-imagined as the Halcyon to become one of Midtown Manhattan’s most celebrated new condominium residences.

Conceived as an oasis of serenity in a city full of life, Halcyon sits in a charming neighborhood enclave adjacent to Beekman Place and Sutton Place on the east side of Manhattan at the northeast corner of East 51st Street and Second Avenue. The renowned architecture firm SLCE designed the 32-story glass sheathed tower-on-base building with clean and contemporary interiors by S. Russell Groves. With over 275,000 square feet above grade, the project contains 123 residential units, two floors of amenities, ground-floor retail and underground parking.

The culmination of a four-year land and air rights assemblage in partnership with CIM, HFZ began construction in 2012.

Sales commenced summer 2013.
